The Must-Watch List of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Movies: With so many movies out there (thousands upon thousands), and so many formats to watch them in (DVD, Blu-Ray, MPEG, what have you), it can be hard to make a decision when you want to sit back and enjoy a few hours worth of entertainment. Well that’s where the Must-Watch List will help you out. We have sifted through the selections currently available (and trust me, it’s a lot of movies!) to bring you our recommendations for the Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Monster/Horror movies that we believe fans of the genres (or those wanting to sample them) absolutely have to see. This is a “best-of” list for the genres, though we are avoiding ranking them into a Top 100 type list (at least for the time being). These are the movies that stood out, that changed the genres, that changed film-making, or that are just darn good! Sure, our entries on the list might be somewhat subjective and there will be movies included that some people (maybe many) will vehemently disagree with as well as notable exclusions that we may have kept off the list because we just do not feel as strongly about them as others do as well as some rather obscure selections that the general public may have missed. But rest assured that we have years (and years and years) of experience watching movies in these genres, whether they were good, bad, very bad, or Battlefield Earth. So we the viewing time under our belts and you can decide how much credibility we bring to the table from that.

We will be bringing reviews on a mostly weekly basis, so sift through what we have already and check back for new posts.  Feel free to let us know which movies you think should find their way to the list in the Comments section below and we will also give you the chance to cast your votes on the movies we’ve included on our list further down the road. In the mean time, enjoy and prepare for a journey through some of the best Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Monster/Horror movies of all time, and also check out our Anti-Blockbusters and Blockbuster Overload pages.
